Well the car has been running just fine, up until today. I stopped at a gas station on my way home from school and came back out to my car and it wouldn't start. Popped the hood and jiggled the wires between the starter and the battery and then it started right up. Got home checked the code and it came back as "P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit." I reset the code and it is now starting up just fine, at least for the one time that I tried to restart it afterward.

Should I be worried? Is the sensor going out and I better replace it before it goes out for good?

Thanks for any help/insight.

Jake

first thing I would check is the connector, they can get brittle and come unplugged. unplug it and clean the connectors.

Thanks Mark!

Is the connector located just above the transmission next to the starter?

No, it is right above the the crank pulley, right below the alternator. Easiest way to get to it is take off the alternator.
